Situated a few blocks south of the Brentwood Town Centre, Solterra Group of Companies is leaving their mark in the neighbourhood with a 30-storey highrise dubbed Milano. The under-construction residential tower is above-grade and already making itself at home within the fast-growing enclave of Burnaby, where high-density development is transforming the city's four town centres: Brentwood, Lougheed, Metrotown and Edmonds.

The building will hold a selection of units from work/live residences to multi-storey townhomes to contemporary apartment residences. The top two floors are where 3,376-square-foot penthouses will be located, giving the fortunate buyers superlative views of the area. Stainless steel appliances and laminate wood flooring in the main living areas come standard in each unit — a custom kitchen island included in most floor plans also features an extendable dining table.

Residents will be able to make use of an array of amenities, an indulging experience that begins with the building's three-storey lobby, which is punctuated by a water feature and public art. A resident's lounge includes a number of seating areas, a gourmet kitchen and dining area, and a pool table for extra incentive. A fully equipped fitness room, steam room, bike repair station, two car wash stations, and a dog wash station are among the other comforts set to be provided.

The amenity package continues outdoors, where a 20,000-square-foot landscaped terrace gives way to a fire pit, open-air kitchen and movie theatre area, furnished dining area, children's play space, community herb garden, and a putting green.

Recent images from the site show the upcoming 176-unit tower erupting skywards, with some glazing panels installed on the lower levels of the concrete structure.
